Brides of Destruction was like a riotous clash between the Sex Pistols and "Dr Feelgood"-era Mötley Crüe. The union of long-time sleaze rock campaigners Sixx and Guns was a spectacular one but unfortunately not destined to last long. The first album was exceptional sleaze metal with heavy guitars, blazing solos, great songwriting and a stellar vocal performance. After this, Sixx left to reform Mötley Crüe. The second album was a more polished, commercial sounding melodic hard rock album that failed to ignite and it would appear the band has now ended.
